Roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building backend test automation for microservices
  • Responsible for understanding end to end functionality of the product and build test automation
  • Responsible for ensuring tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner using Agile Scrum methodology
  • Work closely with developers and/or product support representatives to reproduce, isolate, and resolve product anomalies or design issues
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Collaborate with senior SDET team members to define test requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing strategies
  • Execute automated and manual tests, analyze test results, and report defects to development teams in a clear and timely manner
  • Will be self-driven, motived and takes pride in automating quality aspects of software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key skills:

  • Good hands-on experience in quality assurance and test automation, with a focus on API testing
  • Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript
  • Must have good understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes.
  • Experience in test management tools
  • Experience with testing tools – Selenium, Katalon, Postman, Soap UI or similar tools
  • Good understanding of APIs, HTTP protocols
  • Must Have – Core Java, JavaScript, API Automation, Selenium Web driver.
