Roles and responsibilities:

• Responsible for building backend test automation for microservices
• Responsible for understanding end to end functionality of the product and build test automation
• Responsible for ensuring tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner using Agile Scrum methodology
• Performs in-depth research to define the cause of the problem and offers direction to the development team to resolve the
• Work closely with developers and/or product support representatives to reproduce, isolate, and resolve product anomalies or design issues
• Need to work closely with Product Managers and Architects to come up with test scenarios that can be automated
• Assists the dev team as an SDET to improve quality in early cycles of delivery through some standalone performance testing
• Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle
• Will engage with global teams and scrum master to demonstrate product being built for every sprint
• Responsible for Regression testing, end to end Integration testing of product to be delivered
• Will be self-driven, motived and takes pride in automating quality aspects of software.

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in developing code to do automated testing for APIs to be
• Must have Advanced level of knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and
• Must Have – Core Java, Javascript , API Automation , UI Automation , Selenium Web driver.
